Republican regime · 1792-1804
Interregnum that followed the fall of the monarchy on 10 August 1792 and the proclamation of the Republic on 21 September 1792. The period covers the Convention, the Directory and then the Consulate.
The regime ended with the proclamation of the Empire on 18 May 1804.
